Description

The Army Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award, a Firm Fixed Price, sole source contract to Design and Production (D&P), Inc., 7110 Rainwater Place, Lorton, VA 22079 for Museum Design, Fabrication & Installation services at the National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA).

Background
The Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source contract to Design and Production (D&P), Inc., 7110 Rainwater Place, Lorton, VA 22079 for Museum Design, Fabrication & Installation services at the National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA). The museum requires the design and fabrication of a new exhibit on the 250th Anniversary of the Revolutionary War in line with supporting the 250th Rev War Commemoration led by the Center of Military History (CMH).
The National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA) is the premier military museum of the United States Army located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, approximately 20 miles south of Washington, DC. Its mission and vision are to educate, excite, inspire, and entertain visitors of all ages on the history and culture of the United States Army.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform exhibit design, fabrication, and installation as defined in this PWS. The contractor shall provide certificates/proof of completion to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) after each training session.
The contractor shall provide labor and materials/services for the design, detailing, engineering, fabrication, storage, delivery and installation of museum quality exhibits for NMUSA. The contractor shall schedule, coordinate, oversee, and manage work procured and fabricated under this task order.
The contractor shall prepare a Work Plan/Project Management Plan (PMP) for work in this PWS. The contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed according to this PWS.

Period of Performance
The ordering period is date of award plus 364 days for labor ordering period year 1; material ordering period 1; travel ordering period 1. For year 2: 365 days to 729 days after date of contract award for labor ordering period year 2; material ordering period 2; travel ordering period 2. For year 3: 730 days to 1,094 days after date of contract award for labor ordering period year 3; material ordering period 3; travel ordering period 3. For year 4: 1,095 days to 1,459 days after date of contract award for labor ordering period year 4; material ordering period 4; travel ordering period 4. For year 5: 1,460 days to 1,824 days after date of contract award for labor ordering period year 5; material ordering period 5; travel ordering period 5.

Place of Performance
The place of performance is the NMUSA at Fort Belvoir, VA.
