Description

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to procure a NMR Spectrometer that meets the specifications detailed in Section C of the attached solicitation document. Please reference the attached solicitation for all applicable provisions and clauses.


Offers should include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, as necessary.

Background
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) has a requirement to procure a NMR Spectrometer. The ERDC CERL is looking to purchase a benchtop (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) NMR Spectrometer for analysis of polymers, monitoring polymerization and depolymerization reaction products, microplastics and small molecules. The specific requirement is for the Nanalysis 100PRO model.

Work Details
The NMR Spectrometer being procured should have specific features and capabilities, including the highest Larmor frequency available (100MHz), dual channel probes for 13C and 1H, capabilities for homo-nuclear decoupling experiments and multidimensional techniques, capability of operating without cryogen, and a confined sample container for ease of sample recovery.
Market research was conducted to identify the most suitable NMR model that meets the requirements. The only NMR that fits all these requirements is the 100 MHz Pro NMR from Nanalysis.
