NMIC-26 Replace Hot Water Boilers

Background
The project involves the replacement of one hot water boiler, 200hp, combination fired oil and gas with trim systems included with the boiler and replacing one boiler control with DDC controls. The newly installed boiler should be compatible with the existing boilers and control system that are already in place. Additionally, there is an option to replace the second boiler with replacing the controls with DDC controls in FY22.

Work Details
The work includes providing a complete oil system for above ground storage and delivery to the oil-fired equipment, obtaining natural gas pressures from the local gas company, providing a natural gas propane supply system to the heating equipment, and providing a cast iron sectional, flexible watertube, steel firetube hot water boiler. It also involves providing high efficiency condensing type heating boilers, furnaces, fuel-fired unit heaters, and equipment thermal insulation. Furthermore, it includes providing chilled water systems, direct expansion systems, and distribution systems for air distribution, heating & cooling as well as water distribution systems.
