Background
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and is focused on advancing research and clinical care in neurological disorders. The contract aims to provide essential administrative support services that sustain the operational functions of the Division of Intramural Research, ensuring continuity in research and patient care activities.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing high-level administrative support through various labor categories:

- Senior Administrative Assistants (Admin 3) who assist senior staff with complex document analysis;
- Executive Assistants (Admin 4) who manage confidential materials and support executive management;
- A Deputy Program Manager (DPM) who oversees task order operations.

Key tasks include: coordinating patient appointments and procedures, maintaining protocol and regulatory documentation, processing travel and financial actions, managing supplies and equipment, supporting hiring and onboarding actions, maintaining official records, coordinating leadership operations, and ensuring continuity across research and clinical programs. The work is foundational to the execution of research activities. Contractual obligations include monthly progress reports due by the 30th of each month and a final achievement report at the conclusion of the order. Performance is measured against a 95% acceptable quality level verified through annual reviews. Security protocols require a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for all staff, safeguarding Privacy Act data, and a mandatory one-hour reporting window for security breaches.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this extension is two months from April 24, 2026, through June 23, 2026.

Place of Performance
Work will be conducted at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD during assigned 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM on weekdays.
