Background
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to provide scientific and professional expertise to support its current and emerging research priorities. The goal of this contract is to deliver specialized scientific expertise related to basic, translational, and clinical research, including vaccine research and development, laboratory research at various biosafety levels (BSL-2, -3, and -4), veterinary and scientific research in ABSL environments, as well as bioinformatics and computational biology.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities needed to perform the Statement of Work. Key tasks include:
1. Providing specialized scientific expertise in basic, translational, and clinical research.
2. Supporting vaccine research and development activities.
3. Conducting laboratory research at BSL-2, -3, and -4 levels.
4. Engaging in veterinary and scientific research in ABSL environments.
5. Delivering bioinformatics and computational biology services.
6. Submitting all reports electronically through the NIAID electronic Report Deliverable Submission (eRDS) Site while ensuring compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
7. Preparing Technical Progress Reports that detail activities undertaken during reporting periods along with future planned activities.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 15, 2026 through September 14, 2031.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily be performed at the National Institutes of Health located at 6701 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817.
