Amendment 0001 to Solicitation No. NIAID-NIAID-266

The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is hereby amended to add FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Products and Commercial Services (MAY 2024), as Attachment 7.

Background
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Vaccine Research Center, is seeking to procure a Phenom Pharos G2 Desktop Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) system.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the research capabilities of the NIAID by providing advanced imaging technology necessary for their mission in allergy and infectious disease research. This acquisition is being conducted as a full and open competition using commercial item procedures.

Work Details
The requirement includes:
- One (1) Phenom Pharos G2 Desktop Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) system.
- Associated accessories, software, installation support, training for up to five staff members, and a one-year comprehensive warranty.
- Delivery and training are required within 55–70 days after receipt of order (ARO).
- Equipment will be delivered to NIH/NIAID in Bethesda, MD. Installation support must be provided if needed at no additional cost.
