Background
The Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, is the nation's largest hospital devoted to clinical research, providing medical care and research services to support patients participating in over 1500 active protocols sponsored by NIH Institutes.

The NIH Clinical Center requires consistent and reliable Medical Support Assistant staffing for the Nursing Department and the Patient Support Services Department (PSSD), which is responsible for front-line customer service, reception, admission registration, creating patient vouchers, processing patient travel invoices, and managing appointments for various treatment and service areas.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide Medical Support Assistant staffing services consistently within a health care environment aligned with the NIH mission. Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support personnel over the life of the proposed contract.
- Ensuring dedicated personnel are available to meet program care needs, which may require staying beyond assigned duty hours.
- Performing tasks related to customer service and administrative functions as outlined by PSSD.
- Submitting all required reports in electronic format compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
- Packaging, marking, and shipping deliverables according to Government specifications.

Period of Performance
Base period from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2028; Option Period 1 from June 1, 2027, to May 31, 2029; Option Period 2 from June 1, 2028, to May 31, 2030.
