The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is soliciting quotes for 13 night vision rifle scopes as specified. A firm-firxed-price commercial supply contract is anticipated. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is soliciting quotes for 13 night vision rifle scopes as specified. A firm-firxed-price commercial supply contract is anticipated. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Work Details
USDA APHIS Wildlife Services is seeking to purchase thirteen (13) each Clip‐On NVS (or equivalent) night vision rifle scope, Generation 3 Clip on Configuration with a resolution of 64‐81 lp/mm or better, manual gain control and bright light cut‐off sensor to protect the intensifier tube. Units must weigh 2.4 lbs or less to reduce operator arm fatigue during long periods of use with dimensions of 4.9" x 2.7" x 2.2" to ensure compatibility and fit with existing firearm platforms in our program.
Units must be capable of being mounted to rifle picatinny rail, greater than or equal to 1x power magnification and a minimum of 9 degrees field of view and a focus range of 15m to infinity.
Units must be able to be powered by CR123A batteries to be consistent with other equipment currently in use.
Units must be capable of operating temperatures from ‐40 degrees F to 122 degrees F to ensure operation in wide range of field conditions.

Period of Performance
Delivery is FOB destination. A minimum of three (3) units must be delivered within 14 days following the contract award or by July 19, 2024, whichever date is later. The remaining units must be delivered within 90 days following the contract award date and no later than September 30, 2024, whichever date is later.
