Background
The solicitation is for the NH-95 FIRE PROTECTION REPAIRS at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia. The project aims to make repairs and improvements to the fire protection and emergency systems at the existing Operations Building at NSA, Norfolk, VA. The work includes fire protection and emergency system repairs and replacement of outdated finishes in corridors and toilet rooms at the NH95 building. The project will be funded by FY23 Operations and Maintenance, Navy (O&M, N) funds for construction.

Work Details
The project will include fire protection repairs/construction to OPS Center Building NH-95. Some of the infrastructure within NH-95 is out of date while a section of the north end of the building does not have any fire protection. The fire alarm panel requires upgrades as it is currently not connected to the buildings new mass notification system. In general, the project includes, but is not limited to, replacing existing sprinkler heads throughout older sections of NH95 to include finish repairs, repairing/replacing standpipes, risers and pump systems, providing sprinkler system or other fire suppression systems in un-sprinkled areas, repairing fire detection system and providing a detection system linked Giant Voice to system annunciation, providing panels and software. All repairs must include testing and monitoring.

Period of Performance
The work under this contract is required to be completed within 1,015 days after award.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for the construction projects will be at Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads (NSA), Norfolk, Virginia.
