NFPC -CLB Shipping Tarp

Background
The Naval Foundry & Propeller Center (NFPC) requires shipping tarps to protect and secure shipments during transportation. The tarps will protect shipments from inclement weather and provide a layer of privacy. Procurement of these tarps is vital to the on-time delivery of special components destined for the Navy.

This requirement is for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), which is responsible for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles.

Work Details
The vendor shall manufacture and deliver a total of ten custom shipping tarps as specified below:

- CLIN 0001: Shipping Tarp for CLB BSS (2 items) - Drawing T24521101 - Delivery on or before April 15, 2025
- CLIN 0002: Shipping Tarp for CLB AOS (2 items) - Drawing T24551103 - Delivery on or before June 1, 2025
- CLIN 0003: Shipping Tarp for CLB FWD (2 items) - Drawing T24531106 - Delivery on or before September 1, 2025
- CLIN 0004: Shipping Tarp for CUI (4 items) - Drawing T24541102 - Delivery on or before December 30, 2025.

The contractor must ensure that no substitutes are used for specified vinyl. Grommets and D-rings can be sourced from any supplier as long as they match the size and grade listed in the drawings. Each tarp must be designed according to the enclosed dimensions and material list per each drawing. Certification of Conformance and Certification of Vinyl must accompany each tarp upon delivery. The contractor is responsible for inspecting all tarps prior to shipment to ensure compliance with specifications.

Period of Performance
Delivery dates vary by item with specific deadlines ranging from April 15, 2025, to December 30, 2025.
