NFPA 99 and NFPA 101 Training Sessions

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 17, is issuing this contract to provide training sessions on NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Healthcare Facilities Code.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that personnel are adequately trained in safety codes relevant to healthcare facilities, thereby enhancing safety and compliance within the VA system.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials and services as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) for NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and NFPA 99 Healthcare Facilities Code Training Sessions. This includes:
1. Providing experienced trainers with a minimum of twenty years of experience in NFPA 101 code enforcement and related fields.
2. Conducting training sessions at the El Paso Veterans Affairs Health Care System Facility.
3. Developing a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure delivery of quality services.
4. Ensuring all personnel meet applicable federal, state, local, and installation certification requirements prior to commencement of work.
5. Submitting invoices at the end of each two-day training session.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is set for 30 days after contract award.
