Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) Concept Design Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Solicitation; The NGLS Program is a new class of ships intended to augment the current Combat Logistics Force ships. The NGLS will enable refueling, rearming, and resupply of Naval and USMC assets ? afloat and ashore ? in support of Distributed Maritime Operations, Littoral Operations Contested Environment, and Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. The NGLS is envisioned to be smaller than existing ships in the Combat Logistics Force, and will operate in global maritime domains, sustaining afloat and ashore Navy and USMC requirements. NGLS is currently conceived to be a single ship type providing Refuel, Resupply, and Rearm capabilities. This Request for Proposals (RFP) requires that the Contractor(s) shall deliver cost effective ship designs and approaches that meet the capabilities required by Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) Circular of Requirements (COR) Rev 1.17. The Contractor(s) shall conduct a global market survey for replenishment ships that could be built in United States shipyards, assess feasibility and affordability of current NGLS requirements by performing design development, and provide information regarding compliance with 2025 NDAA ?basic and functional design? requirements. The Government plans to award up to three contracts resulting from this solicitation, based on the RFP contained within this posting. Offers MUST be submitted in the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module (SOL). Emailed or otherwise transmitted proposals will not be accepted. Attachments J-1, J-2, J-4, and J-6 are controlled documents. Background
The Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) Program is initiated by the Naval Sea Systems Command to develop a new class of ships that will enhance the current Combat Logistics Force.

The primary mission of the NGLS is to provide refueling, rearming, and resupply capabilities for Naval and USMC assets both afloat and ashore. This program aims to support Distributed Maritime Operations, Littoral Operations in Contested Environments, and Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations.

The NGLS is designed to be smaller than existing ships in the Combat Logistics Force and will operate globally to meet Navy and USMC requirements.

Work Details
The contract requires contractors to deliver cost-effective ship designs that align with the Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) Circular of Requirements (COR) Rev 1.17. Period of Performance
The estimated delivery dates for the various tasks are as follows:

- CLIN 0002 - 30 days after contract award;
- CLIN 0003 - 30 days after contract award;
- CLIN 0004 - 365 days after contract award.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to NAVSEA PMS 325U at the Washington Navy Yard, DC.
