Description

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT THE SOLICITATION. The Army Contracting Command - NJ intends to award one Firm Fixed Price Contracts as a result of the solicitation that will be posted. Services include but are not limited to: Snow and Ice Removal. Please review the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Site Visit dates will be pre scheduled and posted in the solicitation, if/when it is posted. The required response date will be posted on via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. This Solicitation may result in ONE Award based on Lowest Pricing Technically Acceptable. Background
The Army Contracting Command - NJ intends to award one Firm Fixed Price Contract for snow and ice removal services in support of the 99th Readiness Division (RD).

The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean workplace free of snow and ice, thereby facilitating safe operations at the New Kensington MEM USARC/BMA.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel and other items necessary for snow and ice removal services.

Key tasks include:
1. Remove snow and ice from all paved areas, sidewalks, landings, and entrance ramps.
2. Ensure walkways are free of snow accumulation by removing all snow and ice.
3. Clear catch basins to allow free drainage at the end of each snowstorm.
4. Remove snow from around hydrants to maintain accessibility.
5. Clear access around dumpsters for pedestrian use.
6. Maintain clear access to HVAC units by means other than plowing.
7. Conduct on-call sanding/salting as required for safety.
8. Provide sand barrels with weather protective lids when specified.
9. Maintain effective quality control and assurance as per the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP). The contractor must also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations throughout the performance of these services.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is for 12 months from the effective date of award with four 12-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the New Kensington MEM USARC/BMA located at 2450 Leechburg Road, New Kensington, PA 15068-4697.
