Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Cardiovascular Thoracic and Vascular Physician Services for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality cardiology services to eligible beneficiaries, ensuring that care meets or exceeds national standards established by relevant medical boards and associations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiology, Vascular, and Thoracic Physician Services on-site at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center. Services include:
- Providing cardiology and interventional cardiology consultative services for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with established medication policies and procedures.
- Participating in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings as required by facility leadership.
- Documenting care in accordance with VHA Directive 1907.01 and maintaining patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
- Providing discharge education and follow-up instructions for emergency department patients.
- Ensuring that all personnel are credentialed and privileged according to VA standards before providing services.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for a period of five years, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center located at 809 Lamont Street, Mountain Home, TN 37684.
