Background
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is seeking potential qualified Small Business concerns capable of performing Static Stability Factor (SSF) measurements for the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) vehicles. The NCAP program aims to provide consumers with safety ratings information to assist in their vehicle purchasing decisions, as required by federal law. The work described in the solicitation will generate test data used to assign rollover resistance ratings to new vehicles, allowing NHTSA to continue its rollover resistance rating program.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all facilities, services, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform SSF measurements for NHTSA's NCAP vehicles. This includes conducting tests and gathering data to determine a vehicle's rollover resistance rating based on its Static Stability Factor (SSF). The contractor must also adhere to the NCAP test procedure and participate in a kick-off meeting within two weeks of contract award.
