Background
The solicitation is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, which is responsible for providing logistics support to the military. Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of 900 units of NET, CARGO, AERIAL DELIVERY, with National Stock Number (NSN) 1670-01-029-8556. The nets must conform to Forest Service Specification 5100-502F, dated April 2014, and include specific characteristics such as a drawstring style. Each net must be marked with NFES 0531, the net’s working load limit; the contract number; the manufacturer name; and date of manufacture.

The first article sample(s) are required for testing and must be sent to USDA Forest Service at a specified address. Packaging requirements include compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and marking according to MIL-STD-129. The contractor must ensure traceability for raw materials to comply with the Berry Amendment.

Period of Performance
Delivery is expected within 240 days after award.

The products will be delivered to DLA Distribution San Joaquin located at 25600 S Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95304.
