The proposed contract action is for Non-Destructive Testing Modernization in support of the United States Army Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC).

Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to solicit Small Business of supply for non-destructive testing modernization.

A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government reserves the right to award no contract at all. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Background
The proposed contract action is for Non-Destructive Testing Modernization in support of the United States Army Rock Island Arsenal - Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC).

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to solicit small businesses for supply related to non-destructive testing modernization. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the NDT operations at RIA-JMTC.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
1. Large Vault Linear Accelerator and X-Ray Tube: Replace the linear accelerator and X-ray tube located within the Large Vault, including a new Yolk and Cradle for installation on the current rail system.
2. Small Vault Linear Accelerator and X-Ray Tube: Replace the linear accelerator and X-ray tube in the Small Vault with a new manipulator system.
3. Computed Radiography Technology Scanning System (OPTION): Acquire a VMI SMART 5100MS scanner system for processing scans of flexible reusable film.
4. Modular Vault (OPTION): Provide a modular NDT X-ray vault complete with a part manipulator and a 460kV X-ray tube on a manipulator arm.
5. X-Ray Floor Cabinet (OPTION): A standalone cabinet for performing NDT operations at satellite locations.
6. Digital Radiography (DR) Panel (OPTION): Acquire a DR panel with necessary workstation, software, and manipulator arm.
7. Additional Computed Radiography Technology (OPTION): An additional computed radiography scanner with processing equipment.
8. Additional Digital Radiography Panel (OPTION): An additional DR panel with necessary equipment.

12 months after contract award.
