Background
The contract is issued by the United States Air Force for the NDI Lab Pen Line B1510 project, which aims to enhance electrical infrastructure by replacing existing wiring and ensuring compliance with code standards.

The goal of this contract is to remove outdated wiring from the panel to equipment and install new wiring for upgraded equipment, thereby improving operational efficiency and safety.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks as part of the project:
- Remove existing wiring from the main panel to the equipment.
- Install new wiring to new equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
- Replace the circuit breaker at the main panel that feeds the sub-panel with a 150 AMP breaker.
- Demo and install wiring from the main panel to sub-panel using 1/0 wire.
- Replace the circuit breaker at the sub-panel for dryer equipment with a 70 AMP breaker.
- Demo and install wiring to new dryer equipment using #6 wire.
- Demo and install wiring to new inspection equipment using #12 wire.
- Disconnect air supply and cap connection to the inspection machine.

Additionally, the contractor must protect existing facilities and equipment from damage during installation and testing operations, ensure a neat appearance post-demolition, and provide a minimum one-year warranty against defects in workmanship starting on beneficial occupancy date.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at Shaw AFB, South Carolina.
