Background
The Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, New Jersey requires on-site dedicated technician support services for the NCTAMS LANT Base Communications Office. The mission of Naval Weapons Station Earle is to provide Fleet operational services and infrastructure management to support Combat Logistics Force home porting, ordnance functions, and tenant activities in execution of the National Military Strategy. The NCTAMS LANT command mission is to provide regional and operational direction to Commander, Naval Network and Space Operations Command (CNNSOC) sites, to execute Fleet Forces communications requirements. Additionally, they provide regional information technology support and services to Navy activities, direct remote facilities as required, operate and maintain elements of the Defense Communications Systems (DCS) assigned, and perform such functions as required by higher authority.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide on-site dedicated technician support services for the NCTAMS LANT Base Communications Office at Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colts Neck, New Jersey. This includes providing telecommunications support services for the base population, maintaining cable plant consisting of fiber and copper cabling totaling approximately 85 miles, operating and maintaining Avaya switches located in three key areas of the base (Mainside, Waterfront, and Pier), responding to emergency conditions with qualified personnel within two hours, providing off-hours support as requested by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), performing annual preventive maintenance and inventory of the Base Cable Plant and Pierside terminal, managing hook-up and disconnect at the piers for ships as they arrive and depart, maintaining an updated inventory of all Navy assets with assistance from the BCO Site Manager(s), providing labor, tools, transportation for a firm-fixed price.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this requirement is 1 October 2024 through 30 September 2025, with four option years available.

Place of Performance
Tasks required by the contractor shall be performed at the Base Communications Office located at Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck and Leonardo, New Jersey.
