Background
The Consulate of the United States in Hermosillo is requiring a Contractor to provide janitorial services to include daily and periodic cleaning of the New Consulate Compound buildings located in Hermosillo, Mexico. The anticipated performance period is for one year. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a single award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract with firm-fixed rates.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform janitorial services for the Consulate of the United States of America at its New Consulate Compound 'NCC' in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. This includes regular and temporary additional services such as interior cleaning, glass cleaning, exterior surface cleaning, and cafeteria cleaning service. The contractor shall provide daily and periodic cleaning services for various areas including halls, offices, restrooms, cafeteria, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, glazing, storage areas, elevators, stairways, break room/kitchenette areas, toilets, bathrooms, locker rooms, mirrors, shower facilities, and conference facilities. The contract also includes specific requirements for regular and temporary additional services pricing in U.S. dollars or Pesos (Mexican currency), value-added tax considerations for U.S. firms and local companies, and compliance with LEED v4.1 O+M EQ Prerequisite Green Cleaning Policy.

Period of Performance
The contract shall be effective from the date of Notice to Proceed and shall remain in effect for twelve (12) months. After contract award and submission of acceptable insurance certificates the Contracting Officer (CO) shall issue a Notice to Proceed.
