Description

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Navy, is conducting market research to identify capable service providers for a contract supporting Strategic Communications Wing ONE (SCW-1) and Task Group 114.2 (TG 114.2). The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance the Navy's operational capabilities through strategic communications and administrative support, both in-garrison and during deployments. This contract seeks to provide comprehensive support services that align with the Navy's mission objectives and improve inter-departmental coordination.

The work requested under this contract includes two main components: Executive Support and Classified Material Control Support. For Executive Support, the contractor will be responsible for facilitating inter-departmental coordination, synthesizing complex operational data, and offering strategic advisory services to senior leadership. This involves acting as a central integration point to ensure departmental plans align with overall command objectives. Specific tasks include coordinating meetings, maintaining agendas and minutes, managing task tracking systems, preparing reports and briefing materials, maintaining administrative records, and providing support for special projects.

In terms of Classified Material Control Support, the contractor will manage classified materials crucial for operations at command headquarters and among deployed personnel. Responsibilities include receiving, accounting for, inventorying, maintaining control over reproduction processes, distributing classified operational publications, managing records associated with classified materials accountability programs, conducting inventory reviews in line with security requirements, assisting in training related to material control procedures, supporting publication issue/receipt/tracking activities as well as destruction activities when necessary.

This solicitation emphasizes the need for contractors who possess deep operational insight into resource allocation strategies while ensuring compliance with security protocols related to handling sensitive information. The contractor must hold appropriate security clearances such as TS/SCI/NATO/NC2-ESI (B)/SAP Programs to effectively fulfill these roles within executive support functions or classified material control management tasks.
