This is a design-build contract therefore the awarded contractor is required to perform design work prior to construction. The awarded contractor is responsible and liable for the complete design and shall not assume that the provided design criteria and drawings in this solicitation will alleviate him/her from performing any additional design as required to produce a complete set of construction documents.

Scope of Work: Adequate facilities are required to support the training, recruiting and administration of the Navy Reserve Unit. The training center at Salt Lake City serves 16 full time staff, 14 reserve units and a maximum weekend drill population of 352 reservists. The work for this project is to design and construct a low-rise training facility with insulated concrete masonry unit exterior walls, steel framed roof structure, concrete spread footing foundations and slab on grade. The facility includes spaces for administrative support, medical services, unit classrooms, offices and a drill hall. Design and construction shall include all civil, paving, architectural, geotechnical, structural, utilities, landscaping, security, mechanical, electrical, demolition, and communications work to support the necessary construction.

Contractor shall perform work as stated in this Attachment 1 Summary of Work, Attachment 2 P203 NOSC Concept Design Drawings, Attachment 3 Supplemental Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-proposal site visit and field verify all dimensions and layouts. The project shall be designed within the criteria prescribed, as well as other codes and standards specified in the contract.
