Navy - NAVSEA - Financial Wellness Training - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Navy, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of delivering comprehensive Financial Wellness training for employees at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Workforce Development Branch of the Human Resources Office at NSWC Crane to enhance financial literacy among its civilian workforce. The overarching goal is to equip employees with the knowledge necessary to manage personal finances and credit responsibly, thereby ensuring security clearance stability and promoting long-term retention.

The specific requirement involves providing a 2-day in-person Financial Wellness training course, which will be conducted at the WestGate Academy facility in Odon, Indiana. The training sessions are scheduled between normal working hours, from 0800 to 1600. Initially, two courses will be awarded upon contract award for FY26, with an option for two additional courses per year in FY27 and FY28. Each course must accommodate a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 37 students. The content should focus strictly on educational aspects without any fiduciary liability or commercial interests.

This training program aims to reduce financial stress among employees by increasing their preparedness for future financial challenges and teaching them how to optimize government benefits for better financial control. By enhancing financial wellness, NSWC Crane hopes to foster a more secure and stable workforce environment where employees are empowered through improved personal finance management skills.
