Navy - Administrative and Logistics Support - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Navy, is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of providing comprehensive support services for the Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) located in Gulfport, Mississippi. This initiative aims to enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of training programs at NCTC and its satellite locations. The overall goal is to ensure that the training facilities are well-equipped and maintained to support year-round Seabee training activities, which include both classroom instruction and practical field exercises.

The contract will encompass a range of logistic, administrative, maintenance, and repair services for both motorized and non-motorized equipment used in student training. These services will be required at three key locations: NCTC Gulfport in Mississippi; the Center for Seabee and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) Learning Site at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; and CSFE Learning Site at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. The contractor will provide support across various functions such as student liaison roles, administrative assistance for advanced Seabee training programs, safety management, information technology support excluding NMCI-related tasks, mechanical support for light/heavy equipment, mailroom operations, executive command support, student registrar duties including pay administration.

Key responsibilities under this contract include providing administrative assistance to Navy Military Training staff and performing Command Pay and Personnel Administrator functions for student personnel. Contractor personnel will be expected to manage student records meticulously by updating databases with accurate information regarding student orders, transfers, pay issues while ensuring compliance with Privacy Act/Personally Identifiable Information requirements. Additionally, they will facilitate communication between students and departmental heads regarding duty assignments while coordinating necessary medical appointments related to sea duty screenings or overseas deployments.
