NAVFAC Washington IDIQ AE Gen. Admin Small to Medium Projects

Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for General Administrative Architect-Engineering (AE) Services for Small to Medium Projects at Various Washington AOR Locations, but may also include work worldwide. The contract will result in two single award IDIQ contracts for General Administrative AE Services for Small to Medium Projects at Various Washington AOR Locations, primarily at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington’s area of responsibility (AOR), with potential work worldwide. The proposed contract is intended to be solicited on a Total Small Business Set-Aside basis.

Work Details
The type of work includes various investigations, surveys, studies, design and engineering concept development, 1391 preparation, construction cost estimates, and the preparation of design and construction studies via the Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build methods ready for bidding. The work will primarily involve General Administrative AE services for small to medium projects associated with repairs, renovations, alterations, new construction of facilities and site improvements. It may also include the preparation of studies and technical reports, hazardous material surveys for remediation projects, conducting engineering investigations, project programming, concept studies, interior design and landscape design; Project Cost Engineering (PCE) documentation; preparation of preliminary and final designs; and construction cost estimates.

Period of Performance
The contract is intended to have one two-year base period followed by one three-year option period with an estimated start date in December 2024.

Place of Performance
The primary locations include various Washington AOR locations such as Naval Support Activity in Washington DC and other NAVFAC Washington AOR locations as required. Additionally, work may be required at other locations worldwide.
