NavFac NW North Sound Multiple Award Construction Contract

Background
NAVFAC NW is seeking interested small businesses for this Multiple Award Construction Contract. Construction projects to be performed under this MACC will primarily consist of general building projects and may be either design-bid-build (DBB) or design-build (DB). General construction of DB and DBB projects include, but are not limited to, new construction, demolition, repair, alteration, and renovation of buildings, systems, utilities and infrastructure, and may include architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, roofing and/or communication systems. Types of facilities may include administrative, child care centers, communications, personnel support, recreation/fitness centers, lodging, dormitory, medical, training, hangars, airfield and airfield support facilities, industrial, maintenance, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, piers, docks, roads, utilities etc., in support of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest for Naval Air Station Whidbey Island and PSNS Naval Station Everett.

Work Details
NAVFAC NW NORTH SOUND MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT SOW: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis only. The intent of this synopsis is to identify potential sources for Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for construction projects. A MACC will provide with a contract tool that can be used for responding/supporting requirements by competing the requirement among the MACC contract holders vice undertaking a new source selection process for each requirement as it may arise. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. All responses will be provided in writing via e-mail. No presentations or site visits will be scheduled for this sources sought notice. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC NW) will use the responses to this Sources Sought to make the appropriate acquisition decision for the planned procurement. This is not an announcement of the availability of a solicitation nor is it a means of generating a plan-holders list. After review of the responses to this synopsis, a pre-solicitation announcement may be published.

Period of Performance
The planned maximum ordering capacity is not-to-exceed $49.0 million over the life of the contract or five years consisting of one base year and four option years.

Place of Performance
Work may be performed at various locations that include Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard at Everett Naval Station, Jim Creek and Smokey Point in Washington.
