Navarro Mills Mowing Services

Background
This solicitation is issued by the government for commercial services in accordance with Subpart 12.6. The contract aims to provide mowing services for recreational park facilities at Navarro Mills Lake in Purdon, Texas. The agency's mission is to maintain and enhance recreational areas for public use, ensuring safety and accessibility.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that the park facilities are well-maintained through regular mowing and trimming services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to perform mowing and trimming services at Navarro Mills Lake. This includes:
- Mowing and trimming around various facilities and acreages within the recreational parks.
- All operations must be performed safely according to EM 385-1-1 standards.
- The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all areas are uniformly cut to specified heights (3 inches or less) and that protruding objects are trimmed appropriately.
- A detailed mowing schedule must be provided to maximize recreational use of the park.
- Services will be specified on an as-ordered basis through task orders, with each task order being independent.

Period of Performance
The contract has a one-year base period with four additional one-year option periods.
