PLEASE NOTE: XYZ AND .TXT FILES ARE POSTED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project, which is located in Camden County, Georgia and Nassau County, Florida, will be divided into a base and one option. Work associated with the subject requirement consists of maintenance dredging of the Kings Bay Entrance Channel Cut-1N through Range-E. The excavated material will be distributed among the Fernandina Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS)(D/A-O), the Fernandina Nearshore Disposal Area (D/A-N), and the North Beach Disposal Area (D/A-NB). Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, vibration monitoring, beach fill quality control, and sea turtle and sturgeon trawling. Work associated with Option A is inclusive of tilling and escarpment removal at Fort Clinch (D/A-F) Disposal Area beach portion only, not groins area.The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about July 14, 2023 and bids will be due on or about August 15, 2023.NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities.The Small Business Standard is $37 million. The Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and 25,000,000.00.The total period of performance associated with this requirement is 175 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Said time, which is inclusive of commencement, provides 169 calendar days for completion of the Base and 6 calendar days for completion of Option A. Note: The work comprising Option A can be completed concurrently to that associated with the Base. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED REQUIREMENT; ALL INTERESTED BIDDERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE.
