This acquisition will result in a firm-fixed price (FFP) requirements, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite, Quantity (IDIQ) contract for delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba in support of a natural gas-powered combined cycle power plant (CCPP).

Background
This acquisition is for a firm-fixed price (FFP) requirements, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba.

The contract supports a natural gas-powered combined cycle power plant (CCPP) and is issued by the Navy under full and open competition.

The estimated volume of LNG required over the 5-year term is approximately 4,053,860 MMBtu.

Work Details
The contractor will deliver liquefied natural gas (LNG) to NSGB with the following specifications:
- Delivery point: FOB Destination.
- Estimated total quantity: 4,053,860 MMBtu over 5 years.
- Specifications for LNG composition include:
- Nitrogen: Maximum 1,500 mol%
- Methane: Maximum 92.000 mol%
- Ethane: Maximum 8.000 mol%
- n-Propane: Maximum 2,500 mol%
- Carbon Dioxide: Maximum 0.010 mol%
- Higher heating value: Minimum 1,000 Btu/scf
- Lower heating value: Minimum 900 Btu/scf

The contractor must ensure that requisite quantities of LNG are delivered on a scheduled basis to maintain at least two weeks of storage at NSGB.

Period of Performance
The contract term includes a five-year ordering period with deliveries expected within 30 days of contract award.
