Naval Enterprise Cloud Environment (NECE) Market Research

The Naval Enterprise Cloud Environment (NECE) is seeking industry support to strategize, design, secure, and operate the NECE, as well as provide engineering analyses and migration activities for Department of the Navy (DON) applications. The NECE will be the default cloud hosting environment for DON applications migrating to the cloud, allowing for the closure of data centers and increased efficiencies in IT operations. The period of performance for this contract is one base year with the possibility of four 12-month option periods. The primary place of performance will be the contractor's facility, with occasional work in a Government-designated secret lab.

The objectives of this contract include providing cloud services that are accessible to all DON mission owners, using DoD Enterprise Cloud Environments and major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) with DISA Provisionally Authorization and DOD E2P approval. The NECE aims to use cloud orchestration services to enable visibility, managed services, security, automation, and life-cycle management functions across all CSPs and CSOs within the environment. Additionally, the contract requires the creation of dashboards that visually represent cloud consumption metrics and the provision of a life-cycle management tool set for the environments within the NECE.
