The following procurement will be a competitive 8(a) set-aside.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to procure on a competitive basis, moving support services to provide support to Naval Air Systems Command Patuxent River, including St. Inigoes, Solomon's Annex, and government leased spaces located in St. Mary's County. The government requires moving support services to include minor carpentry and electrical work. These efforts include providing all necessary vehicles, permits, equipment, labor, scheduling, estimating and supervision. Moving support services include crating, moving, storage, inventory, uncrating, disassembly and assembly of equipment, office furniture, and lab equipment. Minor carpentry services include repair and alteration of interior finishes. Electrical services include minor repair and electrical service connection to interior spaces and component furniture.

This procurement is being conducted pursuant to FAR 13.5, using simplified acquisition procedures to procure commercial services. Consequently, this solicitation will be evaluated using the lowest price technically acceptable source evaluation process.

Background
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), located in Patuxent River, MD, is initiating a competitive procurement for moving support services. This contract aims to support NAVAIR operations at various locations including St. Inigoes, Solomon’s Annex, and government-leased spaces in St. Mary’s County. The goal is to facilitate the relocation of personnel, furniture, and equipment while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive moving support services which include:
1. **Moving Support Services**: Crating, moving, storage, inventory management, uncrating, disassembly and assembly of office furniture and lab equipment.
2. **Minor Carpentry Services**: Repair and alteration of interior finishes.
3. **Electrical Services**: Minor repairs and electrical service connections to interior spaces and component furniture.
4. **Logistics Management**: Provision of necessary vehicles, permits, equipment, labor, scheduling, estimating, and supervision for all moving activities.
5. **Technical Requirements**:
- Move office furniture and equipment between various facilities including laboratories and warehouses.
- Assemble/disassemble government furnishings according to AutoCAD drawings provided by the government.
- Maintain an inventory of furniture and equipment in a government-provided warehouse.
- Provide crating/packing services with all necessary materials for safe delivery of items.
- Conduct pre-move surveys for items valued at $2,500 or more to assess the nature of the property being moved.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Naval Air Systems Command Patuxent River locations including St. Inigoes and Solomon’s Annex in St. Mary’s County.
