Natural Gas Supply for Keesler AFB

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 81st Contracting Squadron (AETC), is issuing a solicitation for the acquisition of natural gas for Keesler Air Force Base (AFB).
The goal of this contract is to ensure a reliable and continuous supply of metered natural gas to support the operations at Keesler AFB, meeting all regulatory and safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for supplying metered natural gas to the Keesler AFB distribution system, specifically to an 8-inch steel distribution line at a constant pressure of 92 pounds per square inch gauge (psig).
Key tasks include:
- Procurement: Acquiring sufficient quantities of natural gas from various sources to meet projected demand.
- Transportation: Managing the transportation of natural gas from the point of origin to the designated connection point on Rippy Rd.
- Delivery and Balancing: Ensuring timely delivery and balancing supply with demand to maintain stable pressure and flow rates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the supplied natural gas meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Communication: Providing regular updates on supply levels, gas quality, and establishing communication protocols with the Distribution System Operator.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect for a period of 5 years, commencing on December 1, 2025, and concluding on November 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Keesler AFB, specifically at the city natural gas station located on Rippy Rd in Gulfport, MS.
