Natural Gas Leak Detection Services   2

Background
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and personnel necessary to perform a Gas Leak Detection Survey on approximately 100,000 linear feet (LF) of natural gas distribution systems at Offutt AFB, Nebraska (OAFB). The contractor shall identify, report and record all leak locations and perform work in a manner that complies with all federal, state, regional and local laws and regulations for leak detection surveys and reporting services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a leak detection survey for the underground natural gas distribution system covering all mains, laterals, valves & valve boxes, meters, risers and regulators through the use of mobile electronic gas leak detection equipment. The survey procedures include open flame and ignition source procedures, marking of leaks, classification and grade of leaks. The contractor must also submit final reports on the grade of leaks.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from 01 Aug 2023 to 31 Jul 2024 with partial delivery schedules extending up to 31 Jan 2029.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Offutt AFB, Nebraska (OAFB).
