Natural Gas at Yokota Air Base   2

Background
This solicitation is for the supply of natural gas (city gas) issued by the 374th Contracting Squadron (374 CONS) at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The mission of the agency is to ensure reliable energy supply for military operations and residential needs. The goal of this contract is to provide continuous natural gas service to multiple supply points at Yokota Air Base, ensuring compliance with Japanese regulations and safety standards.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to deliver natural gas 24 hours a day, seven days a week to five supply points at Yokota Air Base. The specific supply points include:
- Supply Point 1 (West)
- Supply Point 2 (East)
- Supply Point 3 (Main 1)
- Supply Point 4 (Main 2)
- Supply Point 5 (AFSOC Campus).

The Contractor must connect their gas line at designated connection points to government-owned gas lines and coordinate with General Gas Pipeline Service Provider (Buyo Gas Co., Ltd.) for periodic and emergency inspections. Compliance with the Japanese Gas Business Act (Act No. 51 of March 31, 1954) and other relevant laws is mandatory. The estimated total maximum amount of gas supplied over the contract's life is 150,000,000 m3 with an estimated annual consumption of approximately 27,672,570 m3.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed entirely in Japan at Yokota Air Base.
