Natural Gas at Yokosuka   2

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide natural gas, twenty four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, to the Cogeneration Plant, Bldg. #3030 at Yokosuka Naval Base. The contractor shall conduct periodic and emergency inspections on the US Government-owned gas line from the Yokosuka Naval Base property boundary to the on-base facility connection point in accordance with Japanese Gas Business Act (Act No. 51 of March 31, 1954) and all other relevant laws. The distance from the existing gas supply point at the property boundary near Route 16 to the facility connection point is approximately 100 meters. A drawing of the existing gas line will be provided a later date.

NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. THE SUCCESSFUL OFFER MUST BE LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO PERFORM THE SERVICE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.

A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be conducted at Bldg 1805 (conference room, 3F), Yokosuka Naval Base on 30 Jan 19 at 1000 hours for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation.
