Description

Development of three (3) Natural and Nature-Based Solutions (NNBS) technical job aids for stormwater, streambanks, and shoreline in support of DR-4339-PR Hazard Mitigation.

Background
The solicitation is for the development of three (3) Natural and Nature-Based Solutions (NNBS) technical job aids for stormwater, streambanks, and shoreline in support of DR-4339-PR Hazard Mitigation. The job aids are intended to inform and align nature-based methodologies for hazard mitigation on the Island of Puerto Rico. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) PR JRO HMGP CA Branch has identified the need for these job aids to foster resilience in the recovery of the project.

Work Details
The work involves providing technical services to develop comprehensive NNBS solutions for hazard mitigation, based on The Nature Conservancy's (TNC) expertise and knowledge in Caribbean ecosystems. AECOM, as the sole reasonable vendor, is expected to conceptualize, develop, and provide the job aids and workshop guides. The anticipated price analysis will be determined based on market research or comparison with similar items in a related industry.
