***** THIS IS AN NMACC III POOL 1 PROJECT: ONLY NMACC III POOL 1 AWARDEES ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE ****

This Design-Bid Build projects requires a CERCLA clean-up effort and waterfront recapitalization at Base Seattle to support the homeporting of new USCG Polar Security Cutters. This effort is Phase 1A. Phase 1A includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of an existing building and pier (Building 3 and Pier 36, respectively), upgrading the fendering system and existing
utilities, replacing and reconfiguring floating docks and boathouse, as well as dredging and disposing of contaminated sediment at Slip 36.

Background
This contract is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) as part of the National Multiple Award Construction Contract III (NMACC III) Pool 1. The mission of this contract is to support the homeporting of new USCG Polar Security Cutters at Base Seattle through a comprehensive environmental response and waterfront recapitalization effort.

The goal of this specific project, Phase 1A, is to address environmental concerns and enhance the waterfront facilities.

Work Details
The scope of work for this project includes:
- Demolition of an existing building (Building 3) and pier (Pier 36);
- Upgrading the fendering system and existing utilities;
- Replacing and reconfiguring floating docks and boathouse;
