ID: N00019-25-RFPREQ-TPM265-0041 • Type: Presolicitation

Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) at Patuxent River, MD (V2231) intends to negotiate and award a new Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001920G0007 on sole source basis to The Raytheon Company (Raytheon) for the management and integration of the required upgrades to APG-79 Advanced Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar Production Test Stations as per the latest NISPOM requirements. Period of Performance of the delivery order is estimate to be approximately 01 April 2025 through 31 March 2026.

This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of US U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the APG-79 AESA radar system with the intricate knowledge of various avionics, targeting, and sensor systems installed abroad the USN and FMS aircraft weapon systems.
