Notice: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, PROPOSAL, OR BID. This notice is NOT a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, therefore this amendment shall NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract, nor does this amendment restrict the Government for any future acquisition approach.
All information contained in this amendment to the initial posting, its attachments, and subsequent presentations are preliminary and subject to additional amendments. Further this amendment, its attachments, and subsequent presentations are in no way binding on the Government.
Information submitted in response to this amendment is voluntary ONLY. The Government will NOT compensate for information requested nor will the Government reimburse any respondent for any cost incurred for travel, attendance, or development of submitting information provided to the Government. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor SAM.gov site for additional information pertaining to this Industry Day.
Inability to participate in the Government's Industry Day DOES NOT preclude any entity from participating in any future solicitations. Moreover, participating or not participating in this Industry Day will not be considered in any future solicitation.
WHO: National Guard Bureau - Operational Contracting (AQ-C), Army National Guard (ARNG), Air National Guard (ANG) and Joint Staff (JS).
WHAT: NGB FY23-FY25 Industry Days
WHERE: Industry Days will be conducted in a hybrid manner (i.e., in-person at Joint Base Andrews and virtually).
In Person Attendance: General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center, 1359 Arkansas Rd, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, 20762. Please allow adequate time for entry into the facility and check-in. The briefing will start promptly at 0830 each day.
Why: AQ-C and its JS, ANG and ARNG customers will communicate forecasted acquisition opportunities (FY23-FY25) and discuss how industry partners can engage with the NGB. We will also be providing our industry partners with a forum to learn about the mission of the National Guard, its contracting process as well as many other helpful topics. See Attachment 1 for the DRAFT Industry Day Agenda.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
UPDATED (4/24) - In-person attendence registration is now closed. Virtual attendance registration remains open.
To participate in these hybrid NGB AQ-C FY23-FY25 Industry Days, individuals must register/RSVP whether they intend to participate in-person or virtually. For situational awareness, in-person registration is being accepted on a first come first serve basis. Interested organizations will be limited to a maximum of two (2) persons for in-person attendance. The maximum expected capacity for in-person attendance is currently expected to be limited to no more than 150 persons. If you are unable to attend in-person after registration, please contact us at NGBIndustryDay2023@army.mil as soon as possible in order for someone else to take your place.
If you wish to register to attend either in-person or virtually, submit the following information for each attendee via email:

Submit your registration information no later than 4:30 PM, May 4, 2023 via email to NGBIndustryDay2023@army.mil. You will be notified no later than May 11, 2023 via email if you are or are NOT authorized to attend in-person.
If you have already provided registration info upon receipt of the initial notification on SAM.gov, please don't resend your information unless you are requesting an update to your original registration.
In-Person Attendance : For any in-person attendee's do NOT have an active Common Access Card (CAC), Veteran Affair's ID, or Military ID (active or retired), please be advised in order to facilitate base access and meet security regulations then the above registration information is required. In addition, a representative from AQ-C will contact you directly to obtain Personal Identification Information (PII) (i.e. date of birth, Driver's License State and Number (e.g. VA/123456).
Virtual Attendance: The briefings will also be available via Microsoft Teams. If you wish to register to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams, submit only the name and e-mail address for each attendee. At present there is no maximum number of attendees who may participate virtually.
DIRECTIONS / PARKING: For driving directions please see Attachment 2. Parking is available on-site.
REFRESHMENTS / SNACKS: Refreshments and snacks will not be provided. Vending machines are available at the conference center. Attendees may bring beverages in spill-proof mugs/cups.
