The US Department of Education is issuing this Amendment # 2 in order to correct the answers to Industry's questions. This amendment does NOT extend the due date or time for Quotes. Please see attached Amendment # 2.

The Department of Education is issuing this RFQ under FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Please see attached documents for additional details. If there are questions they must be submitted by email to the point of contact listed in the RFQ.

Background
The U.S. Department of Education is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) to seek a qualified vendor to provide technical support for national educational technology leadership activities.

The goal is to expand safe, innovative, and research-based approaches for using artificial intelligence and other rapidly advancing technologies to support teaching and learning in both K-12 and higher education.

This contract aligns with the Office of Education Technology's priorities, including Emerging Trends and Technology, Digital Inclusion, and Ecosystems.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which includes:
1. Developing guidance and resources for the effective use of artificial intelligence in education.
2. Writing, editing, and messaging complex content related to educational technology policy.
3. Conducting research and evaluation methodologies, including secondary data analyses.
4. Identifying and partnering with policymakers, practitioners, and service providers to leverage educational technology.
5. Tasks include various subtasks such as briefing materials, meetings, meeting minutes, technical assistance summits, virtual convenings, infographic development, formatting support, story tool research and writing support, and systemic literature reviews across multiple option periods.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance is twelve months with four additional twelve-month option periods.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at locations specified by the Department of Education.
