National Education Campaign Outreach Contract (NEC) IDIQ Extension

Background
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is extending the National Education Campaign & Outreach Contract (NEC) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to maintain critical services while a recompete is finalized.

The NEC IDIQ supports CMS in developing, implementing, and evaluating national integrated communications campaigns, focusing on outreach, education, and communication efforts coordinated with various stakeholders at multiple levels.

Work Details
The NEC IDIQ provides a mechanism for CMS to conduct a full range of activities associated with executing outreach, education, and communication campaign efforts.

The extension allows for continued orders under the existing IDIQ contract beyond August 31, 2025, for up to six months with an option for an additional six months. This action ensures uninterrupted mission support and avoids disruptions that could arise from transitioning to new vendors. The extension does not increase the contract ceiling or materially alter its scope.

Period of Performance
The extension will allow continued performance for a period not to exceed six months beyond August 31, 2025, with a potential additional six-month option.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed nationwide.
