National Defense Space Architecture Experimental Testbed (NExT) DRAFT Solicitation

Amendment 2:

The Space Development Agency (SDA) will deliver a CUI-level virtual industry presentation on Wednesday June 22, 2022 from 1200-1700 EST via a Gov Cloud MS Teams. Please see the attached Industry Day Announcment for additional details and registration instructions.

Amendment 1:

SDA hereby provides the following NOTIONAL solicitation schedule for Industry planning purposes:

Solicitation Release: June 29th

Proposals Due: July 29th

Selection Decision/Proposer Notifications: August 31st

Agreement Award: No later than September 30th

The Space Development Agency (SDA) seeks input on its Draft NDSA Experimental Testbed (NExT) Other Transaction solicitation.

SDA plans to solicit solutions for space systems to serve as a Warfighter evaluation platform for experiments of interest to military users. These space vehicles will demonstrate and evaluate new mission payloads for proliferation in future tranches.. This draft solicitation is for the development, manufacture, test, launch integration of GFE payloads, and deployment of NExT space vehicles, payloads, and mission-enabling ground systems.

The draft NExT solicitation is attached. To receive Attachment 1 (Statement of Work and Technical Requirements Document) and the Draft NExT Bidder's Library, please send an email to osd.pentagon.ousd-r-e.mbx.SDA-SN-22-0010@mail.mil with the subject line SDA Draft NExT Solicitation Attachment Requests. Please include your organization's CAGE code and address in your request.

Requests received from organizations that do not possess a facility clearance of at least Secret will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. SDA will endeavor to respond to all requests in the order that they are received and within one business day of receipt. All feedback should be provided via email to no later than June 24, 2022 at 12:00pm, EST, with the subject line "SDA Draft NExT Solicitation Feedback."
