The purpose of this amendment is to hereby incorporate changes to the solicitation for the National Animal Services Contract.

a) Questions and Answers are hereby attached

b) Attachment 8 (Pricing Schedule) is hereby updated to incorporate an additional CLIN for the disposal of large animals.

c) The Instructions to Offerors has been updated to incorporate changes to the exclusion of documents for the written proposal.

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement provide contractor support for the care and management of animals. Animals may or may not be involved in illegal fighting operations. The contractors performing services under this contract shall provide coverage for all 94 USMS District Offices within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using contracting by negotation procedures prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 15. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USMS will award a multiple-award contract for the the care and management of animals.
