National Airspace System (NAS) – Integrated Display Replacement System (IDSR) 2nd Level Engineering Software Maintenance Support

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to All Weather Inc.

The award is a single source follow-on contract to All Weather Incorporated (AWI), Sacramento, CA to provide continued engineering services for software maintenance at 41 networks in the National Airspace System Integrated Display System Replacement (IDSR), also known as NAS Integrated Display System (NIDS). IDSR/NIDS provides rapid retrieval and display of a wide range of weather, operational support, and administrative information to air traffic controllers and other required users in the terminal environment. IDSR is an integral part of the NAS and there is a need to sustain and maintain the hardware and software, without interruption, via SLE maintenance activities, until fully replaced by E-IDS. This is a Time and Material (T&M) contract. The period of performance is one(1) base period and four (4), one (1) year option periods. The estimated value if all options are exercised is $9,954,719.
