Description

NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) invites industry partners to participate in a One-on-One Reverse Industry Day. JSC is being provided $300M for construction, revitalization, recapitalization, or other infrastructure projects and improvements. The purpose of these One-on-One sessions is to gather feedback from industry partners to assist NASA JSC in developing acquisition strategies for possible future construction/infrastructure improvement projects at Johnson Space Center.

This Reverse Industry Day Event is for market research purposes only in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. Participation is voluntary. This Reverse Industry Day is not related to any specific contract action or solicitation and no contract award will result from participation. All costs associated with attendance/travel and preparation of capability statements shall be at the Contractor's expense and no reimbursement will be provided by the Government.

To facilitate interactive communications with industry, JSC Center Operations Directorate personnel will be available for one-on-one meetings either virtually or in person with individual companies.
The meetings are intended to be Questions and Answers (Q&A) sessions in which neither side will make a formal presentation. The NASA questions and example descriptions of potential projects are provided via attachment to this posting. This event aims to enhance collaboration, share insights, and gather feedback from industry experts to support NASA's mission.

  • RSVP One-on-One No Later Than 11:00 AM CST August 25, 2025, with the following information provided:
    • Name of Company
    • Unique Entity ID (UEI)
    • Size Standard
    • Socioeconomic Status if applicable
    • Names of attendees (Limited to no more than 3)
    • Email and phone numbers of attendees
    • Request virtual or in-person attendance

Background
NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) is conducting a One-on-One Reverse Industry Day to gather feedback from industry partners regarding potential construction, revitalization, recapitalization, or other infrastructure projects. The agency has been allocated $300 million for these initiatives. The goal of this event is to enhance collaboration and develop acquisition strategies for future projects at JSC, aligning with NASA's mission.

Work Details
The Reverse Industry Day will facilitate one-on-one meetings between JSC personnel and industry representatives to discuss potential upcoming projects. Key topics include:
- Engineering Consolidation, Phase 1A & 1B: Construction of a new High Bay Machine Shop and revitalization of Building 13’s existing High Bay (13S).
- Replacement of electrical chillers in Buildings 24 and 28.
- Upgrade of cooling tower capacity at Building 24.
- Replacement of boilers in Building 24 with modular dual-fuel options.
- Installation of a new chilled water filtration/treatment system across the campus.
- Replacement of potable water tanks and tie-ins for various buildings.
- Air handler replacements across the center due to deterioration. Participants are encouraged to prepare for discussions on these topics and provide capability statements.

The Reverse Industry Day event is scheduled to take place from August 25, 2025, through September 5, 2025.

The event will be held at The Gilruth Center located at 18600 Space Center Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77058, with options for virtual participation via Microsoft Teams.
