NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.

The Government is issuing a solicitation for the following item:

Noun: Namer Power Pack Less Transmission (NPPLT)
Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price
FOB: Origin
Packaging: Commercial

The solicitation will result in a 7 year Contract. The solicitation will be issued as a sole source procurement. The issue date is 09 October, 2020 with a response date of 09 November, 2020. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.

This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-4, International Agreement. The Army Contracting Command-Detroit Arsenal intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to MTU America Inc.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible and capable sources may submit statements of capabilities. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT.
