Background
The United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Denver Service Center has issued a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for market research purposes. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. The NPS anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for the Lincoln Memorial Rehabilitation project and will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy. The NPS also mentions the possibility of a small business or other socio-economical small business set-aside for the solicitation, depending on the level of interest from businesses and the quality of responses to this source sought announcement.

Work Details
The project is located at National Mall and Memorial Parks in Washington D.C. The construction magnitude is greater than $10 million. The project scope includes complete removal of the existing Visitor’s Center and Retail Shop, replacement and relocation of elevators, construction of a new Interpretive Center, exterior work including widening entrances, enlargement of vents, partial replacement of slabs, sod and waterproofing installation, and compliance with the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Interested businesses are required to submit company information, business type classification, bonding capacity statement, experience and capability demonstration on similar projects, and existing marketing materials.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 1095 calendar days including any potential weather shutdown.

The construction projects will be performed at National Mall and Memorial Parks in Washington D.C.
