Background
The United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Denver Service Center, has issued a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) for the purpose of conducting market research. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge regarding the type of interested businesses and their qualifications. The NPS will use information obtained through this notice to develop an acquisition strategy. The amount of interest or lack thereof will determine the possibility of a small business or other socio-economical small business set-aside for the solicitation. No proposal package, solicitation, specification, or drawings are available with this notice.

Work Details
The project is a Bridge and Pavement Preservation Project located at National Capital Parks - East in Washington DC, Maryland. The construction magnitude is $1M to $5M. The project includes construction sites along and crossing the Baltimore Washington Parkway and Suitland Parkway for Bridge Preservation, as well as within Park facilities in the DC area (Anacostia, Frederick Douglas, Oxon Cove) for Pavement Preservation.
The Park will remain open during construction, thus contract activities and logistics must be structured to 1 lane maximum closures and scheduled to minimize visitor impact (9:00am to 3:30pm). The site requires protective measures to ensure the surrounding area remains undisturbed. There are structures considered historical resources within the scope.
The anticipated period of performance is 290 calendar days (excluding winter shutdown) and includes potential weather shutdown.
