Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) operates the Gulfstream C-20A aircraft, serial number 389, known as NASA 802 (tail number N802NA). The aircraft is due for a 4500 flight hour inspection of its wing attach frames, which cannot be performed by AFRC personnel due to a lack of necessary expertise and hardware. This contract aims to address this need by engaging an FAA certified contractor.

Work Details
The contractor is required to complete the following tasks: conduct the 4500 flight hour inspections of the wing attach frames forward (538010 (P)) and aft (538015 (P)). The work includes disassembling the aircraft for inspection and performing standard Ops 1 and Ops 2 maintenance packages in parallel with fuselage penetration inspections at a certified repair location.

The contractor must be an FAA certified 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station, with a preference for those holding AS9110 or AS9100 third-party certification. No additional work beyond these specified tasks is sought.

Period of Performance
