N69450-25-R-0014, DESIGN BID BUILD FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - RUNWAY 15-33 REPAIRS LOCATED AT BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE (AFB), BOSSIER CITY. LOUISIANA
Background
The NAVFAC Engineering Systems Command is issuing a design bid build firm-fixed price construction contract for runway repairs at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. The goal is to repair Runway 15-33 to ensure safe and efficient operations at the base.

Work Details
The project involves extensive repairs to Runway 15-33, including demolition of existing runway sections, geometry planning for new sections, and installation of temporary runway lighting.

Tasks include standard penetration tests, pavement coring logs, asphalt sealcoating, concrete pavement jointing and sealing, and marking plans for runways and taxiways.

Additional work includes management of hazardous waste, environmental protection measures, stormwater management, and coordination with the Environmental Management System.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days after award and complete it within 540 calendar days.
